At Rane Group, Learning and Development (L&D) is viewed as a critical enabler of business excellence. The organisation believes that strong businesses are built by strong people, and therefore places significant emphasis on developing talent at every level. 

Rane Institute for Employee Development (RIED) is a Management and Leadership Development Centre for the Rane group. RIED is a Silver certified Green Building (certified by US Green Building Council), equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. Each of our plants is also equipped with adequate training infrastructure. 

L&D is not treated as a standalone function, instead, it is deeply integrated into the Group’s business strategies and their execution. Every learning initiative is aligned to the organisation’s long-term goals, ensuring that employees are fully equipped to drive performance and deliver on strategic priorities.

Total Employee Involvement

In Rane group, TEI is given utmost importance as any learning initiative can be implemented with active and voluntary involvement of people. This ensures commitment and ownership. TEI involves Suggestions, Quality Control Circles (QCCs), Kaizens, Quality Improvement Teams (QITs) and Cross Functional Teams (CFTs).

L&D Team facilitates TEI discussions and reviews as well as organizes QCC/QIT competitions which promote voluntarily participation; in addition, the L&D Team encourages participation in external competition as well.
